Knotted in Legacy

Jason Moattar was born into the rug business founded by his father, Edward Moattar. In 1963, he was the first major dealer in Atlanta and established Moattar as a destination for the most sought-after rugs from around the world.  Since joining the company in 1999, Jason has taken the business in a whole new direction while successfully maintaining the tradition of his father’s legacy. Moattar is now a to-the-trade showroom and a national resource for designers. Moattar carries the largest rug inventory in the South with a vast assortment of antique, reproduction, and modern rugs. Our custom lines range from all hand-knotted rugs to a specialty assortment of hides and beyond.
